When I lost my role as President and GM, it was a shock. It wasn’t just the loss of a job—it was a loss of identity, routine, and connection. I had to grieve. And like grief, it came in waves—sadness, anger, confusion, and quiet moments of loneliness.

Some people I thought I’d hear from disappeared. That hurt. But others surprised me in the most beautiful ways—reaching out to check in, inviting me for a virtual coffee, sending thoughtful notes. One person even sent me flowers the next day and cards on special occasions, just to say, “I’m thinking of you.” Those small gestures meant the world. They reminded me I wasn't alone.

Over the past year, I gave myself permission to heal. I worked with an executive coach and began truly listening to my heart. I went back to school to earn my professional coaching certification. I spent time with my mom during a difficult chapter in her health journey. I volunteered with The WIT Network. And most importantly, I took care of me.

Now, I’m stronger than ever. I’ve launched my own coaching and consulting business—Explore Beyond Coaching—and I’m saying yes to the opportunities that align with my core values and passions.

To anyone out there navigating the loss of a job or a sudden change: I see you. I’ve been there. If you're struggling with what's next, I’d love to offer a free 30-minute coaching session. No pressure—just a conversation between two humans who’ve both walked the path of starting over.

Let's talk!
